Management
Files, plugins, mods, backups, databases, and subdomains
The Management section covers day-to-day server tools — files, plugins, backups, and more. Open your server in the Nether Panel and use the sidebar tabs under Management.
Files
The Files tab is your server's file manager. Browse everything on your server, upload files, and manage folders directly from the panel.
Browse and edit
Navigate folders, open files to edit them, and use the path bar to move between directories. Search across all files and folders from the search bar.
Create and upload
- Upload — add files from your computer
- Create Folder — make a new directory
- New File — create a blank file
View modes
Switch between three layouts:
- List — detailed table with name, size, and modified date
- Grid — visual folder and file grid
- IDE — code-editor style view for working with files
Trash
Deleted files go to Trash first so you can recover them. Items in trash are permanently removed after 7 days.
Plugins
Available on Minecraft Java Edition server software that supports plugins.
Search and install plugins directly from the panel — filter by platform, Minecraft version, and loader. View installed plugins and uninstall from the Installed tab.
Mods
Works the same as Plugins, but for Java Edition server software that supports mods. Search, install, and manage mods without uploading files manually.
Backups
Create backups of your server to save a snapshot of your files and data.
From the backups page you can:
- Create a new backup
- Download a backup to your computer
- Restore a backup to roll your server back
- Lock a backup to prevent it from being deleted
Databases
Create databases for plugins, mods, and other services that need one — such as linking data through a proxy.
Manage database credentials from this tab and use them in your plugin or mod configuration.
Subdomains
Create a custom subdomain on a Nether Host domain so players can connect with an easy-to-remember address.
We currently offer:
- .nthr.cc
- .mcsrv.cc
- .joinmc.cc
- .playdns.xyz
You can create up to 3 subdomains per server. Pick a subdomain name, select a domain, link it to a port allocation, and click Create Subdomain. Copy or delete existing subdomains from the list.
