Bedrock Install Stuck
Fix Bedrock server stuck on "Starting installation process"
If your Bedrock server gets stuck on "Starting installation process" and only server.properties files appear in /home/container — with no bedrock_server binary — the main server files failed to download.
Try reinstalling first
Go to Settings → Danger Zone and click Reinstall Server. Wait for the installation to complete, then start the server again.
Manual download
If reinstalling doesn't work, download the server files manually:
- Go to minecraft.net/download/server/bedrock
- Select Minecraft Dedicated Server Software For Ubuntu (Linux)
- Accept the EULA and download the file
- Upload it to your server's main directory via Files or SFTP
- Right-click the file in the file manager and extract it
- Start your server
The bedrock_server executable should now be present and the server should start normally.
